BSW Field Profiles 2019-20

BSW Emily L Robbins 2019 Agency Name: Representative Rozzi's Legislative Office Profile: This office focuses on assisting constituents with the completion of forms, referrals, and providing resources for community members about opportunities and upcoming events. The office's main focus is advocating for social policy as well as supporting and assisting the surrounding community. Areas of social policy interest are sexual assault survivors and the children and youth committee. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities include fielding phone calls to the office staff, referring constituents to local and federal agencies, and assisting in organizing community events for different populations at risk or in need. I also assist in the completion of government forms such as, low income utilities, handicap placards, Medicaid applications, and multiple different types of PennDot forms. Future Goals: To work for the Senate on committees such as children and youth, education, and welfare, changing policies to better fit the needs of the populations at risk. Department of Social Work
