BSW Field Profiles 2019-20

BSW Morgan Reid 2019 Agency Name: Kutztown Strong Profile: Kutztown Strong wants to help prevent substance abuse and provide our youth with a pleasant and secure setting to flourish. They take stock of current resources and create new places where our young people and young adults can express themselves. Field Placement Responsibilities: During my internship at Kutztown Strong, I will be completing many projects. For example, the profile project, values assessment project, and the learning inquiry project. I will also be creating a game for the Harvest Fest that takes place in the classroomwith the children of ELC, and my field supervisor. The learning inquiry project includes the interns to take pictures of the sky at different times to express to the kids what happens during time change. During the profile project, we will be taking pictures of the children and asking them questions to create individual profiles for each of them. During the values assessment project, we will be assessing the same style as the profile project. Future Goals: My future goals are to graduate from Kutztown University with my BSW. Possibly going for my MSW. I hope to work with children, as they are my main focus. Department of Social Work
