BSW Field Profiles 2019-20

BSW Michaela Petrucci 2019 Agency Name: Allentown School District, William Allen High School Profile: Primarily, working with the home-school visitor on attendance/truancy issues. I also get to work with the outreach worker and behavioral health specialist to provide outside resources to students and create an environment that makes students feel safe. Field Placement Responsibilities: I have to make phone calls to parents about their child's lack of attendance, as well as observe home visits. I am working with other interns to help create the safe space for students as well as various projects for the department. Future Goals: I am interested in school social work or school counseling.
