BSW Jocelina Baez Gomez 2019 Agency Name: KidsPeace Hospital in Orefield Profile: KidsPeace provides a range of comprehensive treatment programs in psychiatric hospitals, residential, accredited educational services, and a variety of foster care along with community-based treatment programs. These programs are originated to help people in behavioral / mental needs to overcome challenges needing emotional and physical health to transform the lives of children, families, and communities. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities have givenme the opportunity to engage in tasks related to our programs competencies in order to obtain knowledge on the field. Trained in the generalist perspective, my agency provides me with supervision on assessing individuals and working together on finding professional mental health services, treatment, and casework services during and after their stay. Interns are capable to work as a team member with other professionals to collaborate treatment. Future Goals: My goal is to accept an opportunity at KidsPeace hospital as a health care professional clinician or for admissions. I also plan to earn my MSW.
