BSW Taylor Miller 2019 Agency Name: HCR Manor Care Bethlehem Profile: The vision of HCR Manor Care Bethlehem is to be the preeminent provider of quality care in the post-acute and long term care environments, ensuring patients live with the greatest dignity and comfort possible. Social service employees are key players by creating a culture of respect, dignity, autonomy, choice and engagement. Field Placement Responsibilities: As a Social Work intern, I am responsible for aiding social services in advocating for the rights of each patient from admission through discharge. We are constantly evaluating patients' needs and collaborating with other professionals to develop a person centered care plan. We work to coordinate therapeutic interventions or resources for patients and their families. Future Goals: Further my career by getting an MSW and working with the elderly population to maintain a high quality of care. Department of Social Work
