BSW Field Profiles 2019-20

BSW Maria D. Lopez 2019 Agency Name: Service Access & Management, Inc. Profile: SAM Inc. is a human services provider and service management. Their mission is to help people throughout their service area, enhancing the quality of their client's lives effectively and efficiently. SAM's vision is to leave everyone they meet and serve better off than when they first came into contact. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities include working alongside the Service Coordinators at each stage of the process, from setting up evaluations for determining eligibility, as well as providing support to the families and guardians such as completing referrals. Another task will be transitioning the child after they have aged out of the program or closing their case because services are no longer needed. Future Goals: In order to better serve my clients, I plan on furthering my education after completing my BSW. I would like to work closely within the community and practice social work at the macro level. Department of Social Work
