BSW Field Profiles 2019-20

BSW Aiat Jaber 2019 Agency Name: Berks County Children and Youth Profile: The agency's main focus is to protect children and families and assure their physical and emotional well being, as well as providing services for families. Field Placement Responsibilities: The agency I intern in is separated by departments. Each department is responsible for specific functions. I am placed in the in-home department. The in- home department is responsible for strengthening and providing resources for the family. This includes home visits, referral to services, family meetings, and other supports. The department also focuses on meeting with the families and making sure the services are being used effectively. My supervisor focuses on strengthening the families by providing needed resources to them. Future Goals: My future goals is to graduate and work at Berks County Children and Youth Services Department of Social Work
