BSW Shae-Lynn Harris 2019 Agency Name: Reading Area Community College KEYS Program Profile: The Reading Area Community College KEYS Program is a state- run program to help a specific group of students attend and succeed in a community college setting. Individuals who receive benefits through (TANF) and/or (SNAP) and wish to enroll, or are already enrolled, in a community college in Pennsylvania. Field Placement Responsibilities: In my field placement I am still learning my responsibilities and learning to navigate my way around the agency. I have been given a list of task that should be completed by the end of my internship which requires four hundred hours of interning for the KEYS program. A list of my task require are to learn organization and the process of the office, learn the comprehensive usage of CWDS, and to learn how to apply basic knowledge. The KEYS office does a lot of different task and each person conducts several activities in the office. In my internship I am learning the responsibilities of each individual in the KEYS office while closely working withmy field instructor. I am responsible for knowing the rules and structure of the college and of the program itself. Future Goals: I want to become a social worker/herbalist to advocate for more natural remedies to heal people. I would like to open my own herbal shop, write a book, open a home for young parents in Reading. Department of Social Work
