BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Nikki Baum 2018-2019 Agency Name: Berks Coalition to End Homelessness Profile: The Coalition is a public and private partnership that prevents, reduces, and ends homelessness through comprehensive coordination of innovative solutions and quality programs. Field Placement Responsibilities: It is my responsibility to assess potential clients, input them into the database, and assist with finding them resources within Berks County. In addition, I attend monthly coalition meetings, act as an advocate for a population-at-risk, and participate in community outreach where we walk the city of Reading, and interact with the community. Future Goals: In the future, I hope to work with prison inmates in order to rehabilitate them into society. Eventually, I plan to return to school to receive my MSW. Department of Social Work
