BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Amy Wilt 2018-2019 Agency Name: Promise Neighborhoods of the LV Profile: Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. PNLV is a macro-level agency that focuses on community organization. Their vision is that every child lives a happy and healthy life and graduates high school and hopefully continues their education to college. They host and attend events due make these visions a reality. Field Placement Responsibilities: My role at PNLV this year will be coordinating events, focus groups, programs, meetings and the annual report. I will execute community engagement from a micro, mezzo, and macro level. I will assess the data from surveys conducted over the summer, the focus group findings, as well as the findings from the annual report. Future Goals: When I graduate with my BSW, I plan to get my MSW. I also plan on working in the field to get my license. I would like to continue in macro level social work. Department of Social Work
