BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Jessica Weston 2018-2019 Agency Name: CONCERN Profile: CONCERN-Professional Services for Children, Youth, and Families is a non-profit agency that provides an array of services such as, adoption, foster care, behavioral health, and residential services to parents and youth. Field Placement Responsibilities: My role at CONCERN consists of case management with Intensive Family Reunification Services. I will be working with parents who are at risk of or, have had their children removed from their care. My duties consist of setting goals with, educating, and coaching parents on how to care for themselves and their children so, the child can return home to a homeostatic and independent family system. Future Goals: When I graduate with my BSW I plan to receive an MSW degree. I plan to work with adoption services after graduation, and receive experience in the school social work setting.
