BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Karissa Schultz 2018-2019 Agency Name: Southern Middle School Profile: Southern Middle School is for grades 6th and 7th that provides several resources for the students and their families. Their mission is to empower students with the knowledge, skills and ideas needed for productivity and lifelong learning, as well as to instill in them personal, community, and global responsibility. Field Placement Responsibilities: My responsibilities at Southern Middle School are to observe counseling services provided to the children as well as meetings and other tasks, demonstrate and discuss the nine competencies as well as the Generalist Intervention Model and also be provided supervision. Future Goals: I would like to become a school therapist to help kids of all ages. I would also like to work with a disaster relief organization and travel around the globe to help people and animals in need. Department of Social Work
