BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Margaret Richter 2018-2019 Agency Name: The Highlands at Wyomissing Profile: The Highlands at Wyomissing is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community. The mission of The Highlands at Wyomissing is to enrich the lives of the seniors that reside there. Field Placement Responsibilities: I am the Personal Care intern, which means I am responsible for helping out with activities in the Personal Care unit. I also am running two research studies at my time at the Highlands to help benefit the residents in the Personal Care unit. Future Goals: I plan on applying the MSW program at Kutztown University. I plan on serving in the PeaceCorp and then working with the geriatric population in a nursing home or hospice setting upon my return. Department of Social Work
