BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Breanna Prata 2018-2019 Agency Name: Berks County Children and Youth Services Profile: The focus of Children and Youth services is to protect children and youth from neglect and abuse. The agency provides services to families and children who are called into children and youth. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities entail investigations of different reports of neglect and abuse. I observe home visitis and interviews with the family to ensure the safety of the child. I also do 30 day check ins with the children to assure that they are safe. Future Goals: My future goals are to complete my masters degree and find a job working with children or women. Department of Social Work
