BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Caylee Pierce 2018-2019 Agency Name: Neighborhood Health Center Profile: NHCLV is a physicians office doubles as a mental health service. The agency's main population is to meet the needs of the uninsured or underinsured. They will do their very best to help everyone in need no matter who they are or what they have. Field Placement Responsibilities: My field placement responsibilities vary depending on the day. However, I usually make patient phone calls to confirm, cancel or reschedule appointments. I am required to update patient schedules to let the LCSW's know if their clients need updated safety or treatment plans. When the client is english speaking, I am now giving brief screenings and expanded screenings if necessary. Future Goals: I want to help kids whose home life might not be the best or children like myself, with learning disabilities. Department of Social Work
