BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Abby MacLean 2018-2019 Agency Name: PATHS Edison Court Profile: Paths is dedicated to providing behavioral services to adolescents. It focus on recovery for adolescents who have experienced trauma and rehabilitation for individuals who have exhibited sexually aggressive behavior. Field Placement Responsibilities: I help provide guidance for boys aged 10-15 who have been accepted to the PATHS program. The boys have structured days and I assist with homework help, chores and in some instances reminding them of healthy coping mechanisms. I also sit in on occasional staff meetings, ISP meetings and group sessions to better understand the boys background. Future Goals: In the future I hope to get my Masters degree. I would like to get a job working with children or crime victims. Department of Social Work
