BSW Field Profiles 2018-19

BSW Rachael Clineff 2018-2019 Agency Name: Hope Rescue Mission Profile: The agency is a religious non-profit focused on providing shelter to homeless men. They have several programs including a transitional housing program and an overnight shelter. The agency also provides several faith-based programs for the men staying at the shelter. Field Placement Responsibilities: I intern in the case management department. My responsibilities include meeting with clients in the shelter, helping them create an exit plan, and providing case management to needs that arise while in the shelter. I will work with residents to create goals, meet with them about the goals, and provide support throughout. This includes referring to other agencies and working alongside other organizations in the community. Future Goals: I plan to get my MSW right away and work for a non -profit in Reading. I want to work with vulnerable populations including people experiencing homelessness. Department of Social Work
