The RISE/Act 101 Program is a support program for PA students who have an academic and nancial need. The program collaborates with campus offices to create a student success culture. Kutztown University offers military science instruction conducted primarily at Lehigh University. Physical Training (PT) is conducted at Kutztown. The mission of the student conduct program is to develop students and support a campus culture of respect through the application of a fair and equitable educational process aimed at preparing students to meet lifelong ethical, social and professional challenges. Studying abroad is available to KU students in any major. Options include exchanges, short-term KU faculty-led programs, programs offered by other PASSHE and U.S. institutions, and International Education Organizations. Costs vary and in some cases financial aid may be applied. Testing Services (CLEP/AP Exams) — 201 Graduate Center- 484- 646-5933. This Office provides CLEP (College Level Examination Program) testing and evaluation along with evaluation of Advanced Placement (AP) scores. If you have advanced skill in a subject area and would like to try a CLEP exam, contact this office for more details. Transportation/Campus Shuttle Bus - Public Safety, 610-683- 4860. The Kutztown Shuttle is a quick, easy way for students to travel around campus and town. TRIO Student Support Services —121A Old Main- 610- 683-1347. Student Support Services is a TRIO program funded by the United States Department of Education. Student Support Services is a comprehensive academic support program providing study skills assistance, tutoring, and advising for success in college. Freshmen participants will complete a credit- bearing seminar designed to introduce students to the critical strategies, resources, and responsibilities of a university education. Tutoring Services — 30 Rohrbach Library- 610-683-4207. Tutoring Services is designed to help you reach your full potential as a student and help increase your GPA. The Women’s Center exists to help address issues of gender-inequity and women’s well-being by education and engagement in the campus community. The writing center is a drop-in service offering one-on-one, personalized conferences for students wishing to discuss their writing processes or works in progress.
