Offers career counseling and coaching, a “Major Discoveries Series”, workshops and presentations; career assessments; internship and job fairs; employer information and networking sessions; career library, resourceful website; and internship & job databases for freshmen through graduate students! Center for Academic Success and Achievement (CASA) — 26 Rohrbach Library- 610-683-4007. Offers personalized academic support and academic success workshops in addition to student success events like Fast Pass to Learning & The Study Zone. Community Outreach Center (COC) — 281 McFarland Student Union- 610-683-4022. Do you have that volunteer spirit? The Community Outreach Center organizes a full range of volunteer opportunities for the KU community. Programs sponsored by the COC can help you gain valuable experience related to possible careers. Counseling and Psychological Services — 122 Beck Hall- 610-683- 4072. Confidential counseling services for students experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, family and relationship troubles, substance use, and other concerns. Dean of Students — 119 Stratton Administration Center - 610-683-1396. Provides someone you can turn to when you have concerns or need assistance in resolving difficult issues. The office will protect your privacy and maintain strict confidentiality, except in rare instances where your safety, or the safety of others, may be in jeopardy. Your issues will not be discussed with others and there is no effect on your grades or your relationship with the university. You can review the amount of aid you are eligible for or check for missing information needed in order to complete the financial aid process. GLBTQ Center — 04 Old Main- 484-646-4111. The GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered & Questioning) Center is a safe space for all members of the Kutztown community. We have a concern for the well-being of lesbian, transgender, bisexual, gay, intersex, questioning, and other non-cis/straight students. The Center hosts a number of student groups and frequently collaborates with the Women’s Center. Greek Life — 153 McFarland Student Union- 610-683-1383. There are 18 registered Greek organizations on campus (10 fraternities and 8 sororities). All of these organizations strive for brotherhood/ sisterhood and to achieve academic and co-curricular excellence. Recruitment is held in both the fall and spring semesters. Health and Wellness Services — Beck Hall- 610-683-4082. Ambulatory health care center that provides illness and injury care to all residents and commuter students. Students are eligible for services upon payment of the health center fee and completion of required medical forms. Housing & Dining Services —106 Old Main- 610-683-4027.
