Maintenance Services  Maintenance of building exteriors and roofs.  Maintenance of building interiors (floors, doors, windows, walls, ceilings)  Maintenance of critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) To request services, please submit a work request through iService Desk at workorders.kutztown.edu Our Staff: Maintenance Services Facilities Maintenance Services includes a variety of trade craft ser- vices that are typically needed to support maintenance and repairs to campus buildings, building systems, and components. Examples of trade “shops”, specialties, and services are shown below. Services We Provide:  Maintenance Repair Technicians  HVAC Technicians  Plumbers  Carpenters  Water Treatment Technicians  Temperature Controls Technicians  High Voltage Electrical Technicians General Maintenance Shop The General Maintenance Shop is responsible for routine carpentry, roofing, and minor masonry repairs. Examples of services commonly requested and provided include:  Roof leak investigations and repairs  Furniture repairs (chairs, desks, tables)  Floor tile, stair tread, door, window, and wall repairs  Picture hanging  Painting Electric Shop The Electric Shop is responsible for the installation, repair, mainte- nance of all University electrical systems and components. These include the high voltage distribution system, building lighting and other electrical systems and equipment. Examples of services commonly requested and provided include:  Power outage resolution  Repair of electrical components including switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures  Indoor and outdoor lighting repairs Mechanical Shop The Mechanical Shop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, plumbing sys- tems, and water treatment services on campus. Examples of services commonly requested and provided include:  Maintain decorative fountains, pools, and spas on campus  Service built-in refrigeration units for dining facilities  Maintain and repair building cooling and heating systems  Maintain and repair toilets, showers, indoor water foun- tains, sinks, and urinals
