DELTA PHI ALPHA: An honor society that seeks to recognize excellence in the study of German. The society aims to promote the study of the German language, literature, and civilization and endeavors to emphasize those aspects of German life and culture which are of universal value and which contribute to the eternal search for peace and truth. GAMMA THETA UPSILON: A geographical honor society in which students must have an overall GPA of 3.3 or better with at least three Geography courses and a GPA of 3.3 or better in Geography, and at least 36 completed semester hours. Members wear three cords (blue, gold, and brown) which represent the colors of Gamma Theta Upsilon. KAPPA DELTA PI: An honor society that recognizes students of exceptional ability and achievement studying in all fields of education. Members wear green and purple cords as part of their academic regalia. KAPPA MU EPSILON: An honor society for students who have maintained standards of scholarship, have professional merit, and have attained academic distinction in mathematics and other closely related fields. Members wear a pin as part of their academic regalia. LAMBDA PI ETA: An honor society for students in communication studies who have completed 60 credits, have a GPA of 3.0 overall, and a 3.25 GPA in the major. Members wear gold cords as part of their academic regalia. PHI ALPHA: An honor society for students in social work who have a GPA of 3.0 overall and a 3.25 GPA in the major. Members wear blue and gold cords as part of their academic regalia. PHI ALPHA THETA: An honor society for students in history who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Members wear red sashes with the Phi Alpha Theta insignia as part of their academic regalia. PHI BETA DELTA: An honor society dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education. International or domestic students must demonstrate high scholastic achievement in the pursuit of academic studies. Members wear a medallion with a red and gold ribbon as part of their academic regalia. PHI KAPPA PHI: A selective honor society for all academic disciplines that recognizes outstanding achievement in all fields of higher education. Members wear a medallion on a blue ribbon as part of their academic regalia. PI SIGMA ALPHA: An honor society for students in political science and public administration. Students who meet the grade and course requirements are invited to membership during the spring semester of each academic year. Members wear a white enamel medallion with Pi Sigma Alpha in black, trimmed in gold on a red cord. Members wear white and red cords as part of their academic regalia. PSI CHI: An honor society for students in psychology who have a GPA of 3.33 overall. Members wear white and blue cords as part of their academic regalia. SIGMA DELTA PI: An honor society for students in Spanish that promotes cultural activities on Hispanic themes and diversity among students, faculty, and the surrounding community. SIGMA PI SIGMA: An honor society dedicated to recognizing outstanding scholarly achievement in physics. Members wear green and white cords as part of their academic regalia. SIGMA TAU DELTA: An honor society in English that recognizes distinctive achievement, fosters the discipline, and promotes interest in the English language and literature. Members wear crimson and black cords as part of their academic regalia.
