Speakers DR. DINA HAYDUK is an associate professor of sport management and leadership studies, having served as an educator for more than 27 years. She mainly teaches health and wellness as part of general education, giving her the opportunity to meet students from all majors. Additionally, she coordinates the sport management internship program. She is an active member of many campus committees. A supportive and involved Kutztown resident for more than 25 years, Dr. Hayduk walks each semester with, and is supervisor of, the KUBoK Neighborhood Watch, and has volunteered in different capacities with the local school district. She has been recognized several times for her dedication to students, most recently in 2018 by the KU College of Business for her outstanding advising, as well as by the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties (APSCUF) in 2017 for her exceptional service. Dr. Hayduk has published numerous research articles and books, as well as presented her research at various confer- ences at the local, regional and national levels. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Wilkes College, followed by a Master of Education in health education and a Doctor of Education in adult education from the Pennsylvania State University. COLIN QUINN of Flourtown, Pa., graduates today with a Master of Education in secondary education/curriculum and instruction. He graduated from KU in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in special education. Quinn currently teaches fifth grade math, lan- guage arts, science, social studies and social/emotional learning at Erdenheim Elementary School in Flourtown, Pa. During his time at KU, Quinn was a member of the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics, Kutztown STRONG, the Student Government Board and the Kutztown Borough Council. Quinn volunteers as an umpire for the Flourtown Erdenheim Little League and as football coach for Springfield Township High School, as well as mentoring students at Erdenheim in the Champion Program. “Kutztown has taught me to be myself and allowed me to follow my passions. The opportunities it has to offer ex- tend far beyond academia. The relationships from my time at KU are some of the strongest, most positive aspects of my college experience and have helped me in both my personal and professional life,” Quinn said. KYLIN CAMBURN of Coopersburg, Pa., graduates today with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies, and a minor in bioethics. She transferred from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2016. She is president of the Greek organization Lambda Delta Xi Diaternity Alpha Chapter and a member of the Lambda Pi Eta National Communica- tion Association Honor Society. While at KU, Camburn was an undergraduate assistant for KU's GLBTQ Resource Cen- ter and served as a GLAAD campus ambassador. She also served as the secretary for the Buddhist Community of Kutztown, assistant director for the 2018 Vagina Monologues, and as both volunteer coordinator and member of the planning committee for the second annual Kutztown University Gender and Sexual Minorities Conference, where she also presented. “The people and peers that I met through Kutztown taught me more about myself and what I am passionate about than I ever expected,” Camburn said. After graduation, she plans to utilize her communication skills in the field of public relations to follow her passion for social and environmental issues.
